Three years ago, we opened our doors to the public as Gilded Design Studio, and what an incredible journey it has been!
As we take a moment to reflect on the past three years, we are filled with gratitude, pride, and so much appreciation for the amazing family, friends, customers, and community who have supported us in this incredible journey. Opening Gilded Design Studio was more than starting a business–it was the beginning of a dream that had been years in the making.
A Story That Began Long Before Gilded Design Studio Opened Its Doors in 2023

For Becca and Meggan, the story that became Gilded Design Studio began long before the business officially opened. Both friends spent many years working for The Goldsmiths, the jewelry store that was previously located at 80 Commerce Drive in Wyomissing. Over those years, Meggan and Becca developed both a deep passion for the jewelry industry, built solid relationships with customers which transitioned beautifully to their own business when they opened Gilded Design Studio’s doors, and gained invaluable experience that shaped who they are today as award-winning jewelry professionals. This location has always held a special place in their hearts–it’s where they learned, grew, and created invaluable connections.
When the opportunity arose to create this business together, they both knew they were embarking on something incredibly special. While opening a business is full of unknowns and can be very scary, it is also very exciting. Becca and Meggan believed in each other, their experience, their dedication to the jewelry industry–and their vision for what the business would become.
Three Years of Making Dreams Come True

Since opening our doors, we have had the incredible privilege of being part of so many meaningful moments in our customer’s lives. From helping couples design or find their dream engagement rings and wedding bands to creating custom pieces that celebrate anniversaries, milestones, family, and memories, every project has its own special story that we cherish.
One of our favorite things is being able to take a customer’s vision and craft it into something tangible. Whether it’s redesigning a cherished heirloom into something fresh, modern, and incredibly wearable, creating a custom piece, or helping someone find that perfect sparkling treasure, we are so honored everytime someone trusts us with making their jewelry dreams come true. Every piece of jewelry we create represents so much more than just metal and gemstones–it represents a sacred story. Being able to be a part of those stories is the honor of a lifetime.
Much More Than Just a Jewelry Store
This stunning redesign is a perfect example of what we do best–pairing our client’s vision with Becca’s expertise, we were able to take her stones from older designs, and update them into a modern, fresh, incredibly wearable design that will be cherished for generations.
Over these three years, we’ve also learned that being a small business means much more than just opening doors and selling jewelry. It’s about being part of the community–supporting other small businesses, building meaningful relationships, and finding ways to give back.
Our Gilded Giving Event has become one of the highlights of our year, allowing us to bring our customers and our community together to support local organizations and the people they serve. Seeing how generous our clients are, and the incredible support for our community-service based endeavors has been a constant reminder of how special this community is–and how grateful we are to own a business here in Wyomissing.
We are honored each summer to annually collect donations for local nonprofits Mary’s Shelter and Lighthouse. The incredible generosity of our customers and their willingness to partner with us to give back to the community is something we will always cherish!

As we celebrate our third anniversary as a business, we find ourselves both looking back with immense gratitude, and looking ahead with an incredible amount of excitement. We are already excited for the future designs to create, stories to hear, and all of the beautiful moments to celebrate with all of you. We look forward to continuing to grow Gilded Design Studio while staying true to the values that brought us here in the first place: quality craftsmanship, personal service, creativity, and genuine care for the people we serve.
