Rebecca Freundt

Rebecca’s creative journey began here in Reading Pennsylvania. Growing up she always had a passion for art, particularly in the field of Crafts. She attended Kutztown University where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Metals.

It was at Kutztown University that her love for all things jewelry was founded. She continued her education and received her Master of Fine Art from Temple University. At Temple University she was introduced to CAD-CAM which would open a whole new area of jewelry design and possibilities for her. She has served Berk’s County and beyond for the last eleven years creating hundreds of treasured jewelry items for her wonderful clients.

When Rebecca is not creating jewelry, she can be found exploring nature with her husband Joe, daughter Lily, and trusty springer Barley.

Meggan Skiles

Meggan began her jewelry career in her freshman year at Kutztown University, working at The Goldsmiths. For nineteen years she honed her jewelry expertise and served the Berks County area.

She received her Jewelry Professional Accreditation from the Gemological Institute of America and her Bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in Marketing from Kutztown University. She specializes in jewelry appraisals and education as well as manages Gilded Design Studio.

Meggan can be spotted cheering on her sons Kamden and Lincoln on the ice, field, and dojo. Meggan is an active member of the US Military Veterans community. She is married to a retired Marine and daughter to a retired Airforce and Army veteran.

Sue Kauffman

Sue started working with Meggan and Rebecca in 2007 part-time during the holiday
season. This quickly grew into a permanent year-round part-time position.

She loves having the opportunity to come to work with friends and considers it a huge
bonus of having jewelry to help our customers with.

You can find Sue at the store assisting the customers with picking out or creating that
perfect piece while also behind the scenes on the day-to-day operations.

When she’s not in the store you can find her visiting her happy place, Longwood
Gardens. She also enjoys reading, watching history documentaries and visiting new
restaurants.

Tiffany Elison

Tiffany started working with Meggan and Rebecca in 2022. Having been a long-time
customer, it was an easy transition to become a part-time employee.

She enjoys working in the welcoming environment where our customers can feel
comfortable browsing and asking questions no matter how big or small. Also working for
a small business, she loves the fact that all the employees have become like family to
her and makes working here all the better.

You’ll see Tiffany assisting customers and helping with the day-to-day operations.
When she’s not at the store, she loves to read and spend time with family and her
grandkids.

Patti

Patti started working with Meggan and Rebecca in 2020. She is the sister of Sue who
also works at Gilded Design Studio. Sue had reached out to her to help over the
holiday season in 2020. What was supposed to be a few months, turned into a
permanent part time position.

She loves helping people with the special moments in their life or finding that perfect gift
for someone special.

At the store you can find Patti either working behind the computer creating our quirky
social media posts, out front assisting the customers or helping with the day-to-day
operations.

When she’s not at the store, she enjoys reading, kayaking, hiking and traveling.
